The Asiatic Lioness is a subspecies of lion,with similar to african lions. these species differ with their long fold of skin running along their undersides(Our endangered world, 2024)

Their diet includes forest animals, mainly dear, antilope and boar. There are only 1200 asian lion sleft in the world. these species are threatened by human persecution, habitat loss and trophy hunting, also as they may attack regular domesticated animals they are also killed by the farmers. they are also being targeted by the hunters for their pelt.(Our endangered world, 2024)

to consereve them there are a lot of organizations putting all their efforts, with some postive effects as well. David sheldrick wildlife trust is one of them and is helping in funding as well as trein the forest guards in Gir national park in india.(Our endangered world, 2024)
